This Privacy Policy applies to all users of RasuRide and Rasu Partner apps (collectively, the “Rasu Platform”), including Riders, Drivers, and Owners. Your use of the Rasu Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.
A. Information You Provide to Us
Account Registration:
When you create an account, we collect your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and payment details.
Driver and Owner Information:
If you register as a driver or owner on Rasu Partner, we collect your name, address, driving license, vehicle registration details, insurance information, tax documents, and bank details for payment purposes.
SOS Contact Information:
We collect access to your contact list when you add SOS (emergency) contacts in the app.
Ratings and Feedback:
When you provide ratings or feedback, we collect all information you submit.
Communications:
When you contact us (for support or other reasons), we collect your messages and attachments.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
Location Information:
RasuRide (Rider app): We collect precise location data from your device when you open and use the app, including while the app is running in the background, to provide accurate pickup and drop-off experiences.
Rasu Partner (Driver app): We collect precise location data while the app is active and in the background during rides or while in driver mode. We may continue collecting location data for a limited period after trips to detect ride incidents or safety issues.
Usage Information:
We collect ride details such as time, date, pickup and drop-off locations, fare, route, and trip distance.
Device Information:
We collect details about your device (model, OS version, carrier, IP address, and identifiers) for performance and security purposes.
Communications Between Riders and Drivers:
To protect privacy, calls and messages between riders and drivers may be processed by a third-party communication service without revealing phone numbers.
Contacts:
When you choose to share your contact list (for referrals or SOS), we access and store that information securely.
Cookies and Analytics:
We use cookies, analytics tools (like Google Analytics), and SDKs to improve the app experience, security, and performance.
C. Information We Collect from Third Parties
We may collect additional information about you from background check providers, payment processors, insurance partners, or other trusted third parties to ensure safety, verification, and smooth operation of the Rasu Platform.

Provide and improve the Rasu Platform;
Connect Riders with Drivers;
Enable ride tracking and navigation;

We access and use precise location data for the following core functionalities:
To connect Riders and Drivers in real-time;
To display accurate trip routes and estimated arrival times;
To provide safety tracking and SOS features;
To calculate fares based on distance and duration.
We do not sell or share location data with advertisers. It is only shared with necessary third-party service providers such as Google Maps APIs for navigation and trip tracking.
We may share information:
Between Riders and Drivers (name, photo, vehicle info, rating, location during trip);
With third-party service providers (for payments, verification, analytics, and safety);
With law enforcement or regulators if required by law; and
With your consent or as directed by you.
We do not sell personal information to any third parties.

RasuRide and Rasu Partner are not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we discover that data has been collected from a child, we will delete it immediately.
